Risk Assessment

En croute catering recognised that all food and catering businesses have a legal, moral and ethical responsibility to implement a food safety management system.

Our kitchens and HACCP quality systems are rigorously inspected and accredited to very high standards.

Our Food Safety policy and our Health and Safety policies are detailed below:

Our Food Safety Policy Statement

To provide adequate control of the food safety risks arising from our work activities.

To ensure that everyone who handles food is trained in food hygiene to an appropriate level

To make sure the food we sell is safe

To identify where food safety problems could happen

To provide information, instruction and super vision for employees

To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to provide adequate supervision and instruction

To put procedures in place to control food safety

To make routine checks to make sure control procedures are working

To maintain safe and healthy working conditions

To review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals

Our Health and Safety Policy

It is the general policy of en croute catering that, as far as reasonably practicable, an environment is created and maintained within the company, which is both safe and healthy for the benefit of all employees. The prevention of all accidents particularly those involving personal injury or damage to equipment and property is recognised as being essential operation as well as to avoid hardship and suffering.

En croute recognises that is not sufficient merely to have a safety policy statement, but what is mire important is that the policy adequately identifies the organisation for implementing the general policy statement and that everyone concerned is made fully aware of their responsibilities.

This policy is in the form of a manual and is based on the principle of identifying and listing the individual's responsibility for safety within the company, from Hilary Harris, the owner.

The observance of the en croute catering safety policy and procedures are a condition of employment for all employees and it is made clear that failure to adhere to these regulations may result in disciplinary action, leading to dismissal, for serious cases of jeopardising the health and safety of other employees.

En croute catering ensure, so far as it is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of its employees at work within the working environment. The safety of the individual must come before the needs of the business and all members of the line management are expected to ensure that safe methods and conditions of working are maintained within their own areas of responsibility.
